Sanitation workers at a material segregation facility in Koyilandy had a scare after a python was discovered inside a waste sack brought to the site. The workers, identified as members of the Haritha Karma Sena, were not injured in the incident.
The snake was reportedly found during routine handling of collected waste at the facility. The discovery raised immediate concern because the animal had ended up mixed with material that was being sorted for processing.
