GAC has marked a major production milestone in Guangzhou, where the company celebrated the roll-off of its 30-millionth vehicle. During the July 16 event, GAC Group Chairman Feng Xingya presented the keys to a right-hand-drive GAC M8 PHEV to Tony Jaa, with the company identifying the actor as its 30-millionth customer.

The vehicle featured at the ceremony was the GAC M8 plug-in hybrid, which is sold in overseas markets under the GN8 name. By highlighting a right-hand-drive model at such a prominent moment, GAC signaled the importance of international markets as it continues to expand beyond China.

The company used the occasion to link its production scale with what it described as "true craftsmanship" and customer trust. For GAC, the 30-million-vehicle milestone serves as both a manufacturing benchmark and a branding moment aimed at reinforcing quality and credibility with global buyers.

Tony Jaa’s appearance added international attention to the ceremony, helping GAC spotlight its broader global ambitions. The event reflects how Chinese automakers are increasingly using milestone deliveries, export-ready models and high-profile handovers to strengthen their presence in overseas markets.
