GPU prices appear to be moving higher again after NVIDIA reportedly raised pricing for memory kits supplied to its board partners. The change is already being linked to higher retail prices in China, where at least one RTX 5060 listing saw a sharp increase in a very short period.
According to the report, a GIGABYTE RTX 5060 in China jumped by about $75 overnight. That kind of move suggests the increase is not only about store-level pricing decisions, but also about rising component costs working their way through the supply chain.
The reported memory kit hike matters because memory is a key part of graphics card manufacturing. If partners are paying more for that hardware, the added cost can quickly show up in final GPU prices, especially on mainstream models where margins are already tight.
While the RTX 5060 is the headline example, the report points to wider pressure across the GPU market. If the higher memory pricing remains in place, more NVIDIA-based graphics cards could see similar increases, making current and upcoming models less affordable for buyers in China and potentially in other regions as well.
