An afternoon session at Aula Magna - FADU is being set aside for planning the next DebConf events, with Debian organizers focusing on how upcoming conferences will be run and where they may be held.
The first featured meeting is the "DebConf 27 BoF," scheduled for 3:00 PM DebConf Time, or 6:00 PM UTC. According to the event notice, attendees will be able to meet the DebConf committee while the DebConf26 team shares its experience with the DebConf27 team.
Later in the day, at 4:30 PM DebConf Time, or 7:30 PM UTC, the session titled "DebConf 28: In your city?" will turn to possible locations for DebConf28. The discussion is expected to explore candidate host cities for a future edition of the Debian conference.
The announcement also notes that DebConf27 is planned for Asahikawa, in Hokkaido, Japan. Together, the two sessions point to a broader effort by Debian organizers to coordinate knowledge transfer between teams while also looking ahead to the next possible venue.
