Ipswich have signed Japan forward Daizen Maeda from Celtic in a deal reported to be worth £10 million. The move was announced on Saturday, with Maeda agreeing to a three-year contract.
The transfer brings an experienced attacking player to Ipswich after a highly successful spell in Scotland. Maeda spent four and a half years with Celtic and helped the club collect a long list of domestic honours during that period.
