India has said the Chabahar port terminal in Iran has not suffered any damage following reports of US strikes in the region. The clarification came from the Ministry of External Affairs, which indicated that the Indian-run facility remains unaffected.
The update is significant because Chabahar is an important connectivity and trade hub for India in the region. Any disruption at the terminal would have raised concerns over shipping, logistics and broader regional access linked to the port.
