Malaysia is set for a Formula 1 return after Sepang was named as the venue for a rescheduled Bahrain Grand Prix. The race is scheduled for 4 October, putting the well-known Malaysian circuit back on the F1 calendar.
The update was announced by Formula 1, the sport owned by Liberty Media, during the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend. Under the revised plan, Sepang will host the event even though it will still be run as the Bahrain Grand Prix.
