A teaser for the Canadian series Yaga has been unveiled, offering an early look at the new mystery thriller starring Hudson Williams and Carrie-Anne Moss. The footage was presented Saturday during the show's panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
Yaga is described as a half-hour drama and reworks the myth of Baba Yaga for a modern series format. The teaser points to a tone that mixes menace, folklore and sensuality, suggesting a show built around both eerie atmosphere and relationship drama.
Alongside Williams and Moss, the cast also includes Noah Reid and Clark Backo. While the preview does not reveal much of the larger story, it appears focused on mood and intrigue, setting up the series as a darker genre entry with supernatural roots.
The series is set to premiere in October on Crave and AMC+. With its Baba Yaga-inspired premise and a cast led by recognizable names, Yaga is positioning itself as one of the more distinctive fall thriller releases.
