Lenovo has introduced two new Legion gaming monitors in China, expanding its lineup with fast-refresh 1080p options aimed at competitive players. The new models are the 23.8-inch Legion 24-1r and the 27-inch Legion 27-1r.
Both displays feature IPS panels with a 280Hz refresh rate, a combination designed to deliver smoother motion while keeping the wider viewing angles and color characteristics IPS screens are known for. Lenovo is also listing 400-nit brightness and adjustable stands as part of the package.
Pricing is especially aggressive at the lower end. The Legion 24-1r is listed at 669 yuan, which works out to roughly $99, while the larger Legion 27-1r is priced at 789 yuan in China. That puts both models in the budget-friendly range for high-refresh gaming monitors.
Based on the announced specifications, Lenovo is targeting buyers who want a fast esports-style display without moving beyond Full HD resolution. The launch appears to focus on the Chinese market for now, with the two Legion monitors offering a relatively inexpensive entry point into 280Hz IPS gaming screens.
