With practices for high schools around Florida opening Monday, Guerschom Demosthenes and Orlando Christian Prep were not on the field as the program dealt with the fallout from transfers and staff upheaval.
The team’s move to 8-man football follows a turbulent stretch that included a falling out between coaches, departures on the coaching staff and players leaving the program. Those losses appear to have left the Warriors without enough depth to continue in the traditional 11-man format.
