Members of the Nationalist Citizens Party of India attended an NDA Parliamentary Party meeting for the first time after their newly formed party was brought into the coalition. The development marks an early public show of alignment between the NCPI and the ruling alliance in Parliament.
According to the report, the NCPI MPs were present at the NDA's 'Mangal Milan' gathering and described the meeting in positive terms. Party leaders said the session was well organized and useful, and they indicated that their inclusion in the wider alliance had been warmly received.
