A seven-year-old boy is still fighting for his life after a serious incident at West Mersea Beach in Essex. The child, named as Musa Ahmed, was reportedly swept away by a current during a day at the seaside.

Musa was airlifted to hospital on July 22 after the emergency unfolded at the beach. The incident has drawn attention because two other family members died in the water.

According to the available details, the victims were the wife of a Bangladeshi politician and their 15-year-old daughter. The family had been enjoying a day out when the current turned dangerous, leading to the fatal drowning of the mother and teenager and leaving the young boy critically ill.
