Samsung appears to be moving ahead with per-app zoom controls for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, giving users a way to adjust zoom behavior on an app-by-app basis. The feature was first hinted at last week, and it has now been shown in action, offering an early look at how Samsung could refine the experience on its foldable phones.
The earlier discovery reportedly came from firmware code linked to the Z Fold 8 Ultra, where signs of individual zoom settings for apps were found. At that stage, the option was not visible in use, but the latest look suggests the tool has progressed beyond hidden code and into a working form.
Per-app zoom controls could be especially useful on foldables, where screen size and aspect ratio can make some apps look better with different scaling. Instead of relying on a single system-wide setting, Samsung seems to be testing a more flexible approach that lets users tailor the view for each app.
While Samsung has not officially detailed the feature, this early preview points to another software tweak aimed at improving usability on its latest foldables.
