Actor Ansiba Hassan has moved the Kerala High Court seeking action against fellow actor Lekshmipriya over alleged defamatory social media posts. The plea reportedly asks for an FIR to be registered in connection with posts described as sexually coloured.

The case marks a legal escalation of a dispute that has played out online. At the centre of the petition are allegations that the posts were not only defamatory but also carried objectionable sexual insinuations, prompting Ansiba to seek court intervention.

By approaching the Kerala High Court, Ansiba is asking for the matter to move beyond a social media controversy and into a formal criminal process. An FIR, if ordered, would open the way for a police investigation into the allegations raised in the petition.

The development has drawn attention because it involves two actors and touches on the growing number of defamation and harassment complaints linked to online posts. For now, the focus remains on whether the court will direct further action on Ansiba Hassan’s complaint against Lekshmipriya.
