ILLIT and LE SSERAFIM have picked up new honors in Japan after the Recording Industry Association of Japan, or RIAJ, named them among its latest platinum-certified acts for streaming. The update gives both groups another milestone in a major music market.
The recognition comes as part of the RIAJ’s regular certification announcements. According to the association, it introduced a separate certification system for online song streaming in 2020, adding to its existing programs for music releases.
