A TikTok creator is facing a police probe after posting videos apparently recorded through smart glasses during interactions with members of the public. The clips reportedly included encounters with young women and a female Sikh shop worker, prompting concern over covert filming and the content of the conversations.
One of the most troubling videos is said to have been filmed on Skye. In that exchange, the creator speaks to a UK-born Sikh shopkeeper of Indian heritage and makes comments about diversity in Europe, while also referring to the so-called Kalergi Plan, a conspiracy theory often linked to racist narratives.
The published material also reportedly included remarks about a supposed effort to "breed out the white race." Those claims, alongside the hidden-recording aspect of the videos, have intensified scrutiny of both the account and the use of wearable camera technology for social media content.
Police are now examining the matter after the videos circulated online. The case has drawn wider attention to the risks of secret filming with smart glasses, especially when recordings feature strangers in everyday settings and are paired with inflammatory or discriminatory messaging.
