Ben Samek is set to oversee Banijay in the United States following the merger between Banijay Entertainment and All3Media. The combination brings together a major production business valued at about $8 billion, placing added focus on leadership in one of the industry’s most important markets.

The newly enlarged group includes companies behind well-known titles such as Big Brother, The Traitors and Peaky Blinders. That portfolio gives the merged business a strong position across unscripted and scripted programming as it looks to build on its scale.

Banijay has identified the U.S. as one of its biggest opportunities after completing the All3Media merger. Putting Samek in charge of the market signals that the company is prioritizing growth, coordination and strategy in a territory that remains central to global television production.

The move comes as large entertainment groups continue to pursue size and reach through consolidation. For Banijay and All3Media, the merger creates a larger international producer with a broader catalog and a stronger base for expansion in the U.S. and beyond.
