Incoming Tennessee freshman Tyler Watts has been selected to represent Team USA at the 2026 Walker Cup, giving the Volunteers another player on one of amateur golf’s biggest stages.

Watts is set to become the fourth Tennessee golfer chosen for the event. The selection adds his name to a short list of Vols who have earned Walker Cup recognition, including Mike Sposa, who competed in 1991.

The honor is a significant early milestone for Watts before his college career begins in Knoxville. For Tennessee golf, the pick also highlights the program’s continued presence in elite amateur competition and adds another notable achievement to its history.
