Influence Media Partners has reached an agreement to acquire substantially all of Anthem Entertainment’s assets in a deal valued at $600 million. The transaction is being made in collaboration with funds and accounts managed by affiliates of BlackRock.

According to the announcement, the acquisition includes Anthem’s music publishing catalogs as well as its film and TV publishing assets. The deal centers on rights-based entertainment holdings, a key part of the music business where ownership of songs and related publishing interests can generate long-term revenue.

Anthem Entertainment has built its business around publishing and media-related rights, so the sale would transfer a significant portfolio to Influence Media and its investment partners. The agreement highlights continued interest in music and screen-related intellectual property from firms looking to expand their holdings in established catalogs.

While only limited details have been disclosed, the proposed purchase would mark a major move for Influence Media Partners and a notable transaction for Anthem Entertainment. With BlackRock affiliates involved in the financing side, the deal stands out as one of the bigger entertainment asset acquisitions tied to music publishing and film and TV rights.
