A low-pressure system that had been active over central India has weakened and moved over southeastern Rajasthan, according to the India Meteorological Department. Even after weakening, the system is expected to influence weather across parts of the state over the next two days.

The latest Rajasthan rain forecast points to moderate to heavy rainfall in Udaipur and Jodhpur on August 1 and 2. These areas are likely to see the strongest impact from the current weather pattern as moisture and unstable conditions continue to support rainfall.

Other divisions, including Jaipur, Ajmer, and Bikaner, are also expected to receive light to moderate showers. This suggests a wider spread of monsoon activity across Rajasthan, though rainfall intensity is likely to vary from one region to another.

The update shows that even a weakening low-pressure system can continue to bring significant rain, especially in western and southern parts of the state. With the system now centered over southeastern Rajasthan, local weather conditions are expected to remain active through the forecast period.
