Shueisha Games and developer iMel have announced a video game based on Honobu Yonezawa's mystery novel Seasons of Books and Keys. The adaptation is planned for release in winter 2026 and is headed to Nintendo Switch and PC through Steam.

The new title is being described as a fully voiced, drama-like adventure game. Along with the announcement, the companies also released a trailer and opened a Steam page, giving fans an early look at the project and its presentation.

The game brings Yonezawa's mystery story into an interactive format, adding another adaptation to the author's work. While only limited details are available so far, the early reveal highlights a story-focused approach built around voice performances and adventure gameplay.

With a winter 2026 launch window now confirmed, Seasons of Books and Keys is positioned as an upcoming title for readers of the novel and players interested in narrative mystery games on Switch and PC.
