Judd Trump claimed his second Shanghai Masters title with an 11-6 victory over Kyren Wilson in the final. The world number one added another trophy in Shanghai after pulling clear across the match.

Trump, 36, built the foundation for the win in the opening session, where he moved into a 7-3 lead. That advantage left Wilson chasing the match and gave Trump control going into the later stages of the final.

When play resumed, Trump won four of the next seven frames to complete the job and seal the title. The result underlined his strong position at the top of the game and gave him another Shanghai crown.

For Wilson, the defeat meant falling short against an opponent who had already created a decisive cushion. For Trump, the 11-6 scoreline was enough to secure a second triumph at the Shanghai Masters.
