Police in Bengaluru are investigating a theft reported outside Ganesh Bakery in the LR Bande area, where a salesman’s scooter was allegedly targeted by thieves. According to the report, cigarette packs and bills were taken from the vehicle.
The stolen goods were said to include Marlboro cigarette packs, with the total value of the loss estimated at Rs 50,000. The incident adds to concerns over thefts involving parked two-wheelers and goods left on them in busy local areas.
Authorities have begun examining CCTV footage from the area to trace those involved. The case has been registered under BNS 303, and the investigation is continuing.
At this stage, police are focusing on available surveillance material and other local leads to piece together how the theft happened outside the bakery. No further details were immediately available.
