Nigeria’s Federal Government has signed a memorandum of understanding with Morocco to introduce an agricultural monitoring system powered by artificial intelligence and satellite technology. The initiative is aimed at improving how crop conditions are tracked and managed as the country pushes to strengthen food security.
Under the agreement, the platform is expected to be deployed in 15 states. The system is designed to give state and local authorities better visibility into farming activity, helping them monitor crop performance and respond more effectively to changing conditions in the agricultural sector.
