Honda has confirmed Japan launch timing for two highly anticipated 400cc motorcycles: the CB400 Super Four E-Clutch and the CBR400R Four E-Clutch. The announcement gives riders a clearer picture of when the new models will reach the market after strong interest in Honda’s latest small-capacity inline-four offerings.
The CB400 Super Four brings back a familiar retro-style nameplate, while the CBR400R Four targets riders looking for a fully faired sport bike. Both models are built around a 399cc engine, combining compact displacement with the character that many enthusiasts associate with Honda’s four-cylinder middleweight machines.
A key feature on both bikes is Honda’s E-Clutch system. The technology is designed to modernize the riding experience, and its inclusion on these new 400cc models highlights Honda’s push to blend traditional motorcycle appeal with newer rider-assistance features.
Honda also says the motorcycles will include modern connectivity options, adding another contemporary element to the package.
