Regional officials said the attacks affected both commercial and energy-related locations. The reported deaths at the warehouse marked one of the deadliest outcomes for civilian workers tied to this latest round of drone operations, while the oil depot fire underscored the vulnerability of infrastructure around the Russian capital.
At the same time, fighting also brought casualties to southern Ukraine. The report said a Russian attack on Odesa killed one person aboard a vessel registered in Antigua and Barbuda, highlighting the continuing danger around the Black Sea port.
Taken together, the strikes point to the widening reach of attacks on logistics, fuel storage and shipping as the war continues.
