Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar used a public event in Patna to underline the importance of government schools in shaping the country’s future. Speaking at Patna High School’s foundation day celebration and alumni meet, he emphasized the part such institutions play in education and nation-building.
During the programme, Kumar inaugurated the event and released a souvenir linked to the occasion. The gathering brought together school representatives, former students and other attendees to mark the institution’s legacy and continuing role in public education.
The chief minister also paid tribute to Shaheed Rajendra Prasad Singh in Patna, adding a commemorative note to the event. The ceremony combined recognition of the school’s history with remembrance and civic pride.
