Ahmedabad police have formed a Special Investigation Team to examine the blast at an illegal firecracker unit in the Ramol area. The explosion left nine people dead and six others injured, turning the incident into a major criminal and safety investigation.
According to the available details, police have registered an FIR under provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita as well as explosives-related laws. The case is expected to focus on how the unit was operating, whether required permissions were missing, and what led to the deadly blast.
