Shrey Kathuria is offering a closer look at Mindspill, a personal typographic diary that has grown into an expanding archive of poster work. The Delhi-born, London-based designer is also known for creating the visual identity for One Little Independent Records, but this project turns the focus toward a more reflective and self-directed practice.
Mindspill began during a quiet stretch when professional activity had slowed and everyday social life had largely come to a halt. In that stillness, Kathuria made a poster titled Slowness Is Not Your Enemy, a piece that marked the starting point for what would become a much larger body of work.
The project is framed as a space for typography-led expression, collecting posters that appear to function as both visual experiments and personal notes. Rather than presenting a traditional portfolio, Mindspill suggests an evolving record of thoughts, moods and observations translated through type.
Kathuria’s story highlights how a pause in routine can open room for new creative directions. What started as a single poster during a subdued moment has developed into a growing typographic archive, giving Mindspill the feel of an ongoing design journal shaped by time, reflection and graphic exploration.
