Vivo could be preparing to relaunch its S-series in India, with the Vivo S2 reportedly lined up for an early August debut. If the launch window proves accurate, it would mark the brand’s first S-series arrival in the country since 2019.
A report citing tipster Yogesh Brar suggests the upcoming phone may be priced below Rs 50,000. That would place the Vivo S2 in the premium mid-range bracket, where brands are increasingly focusing on buyers who want flagship-style features without crossing into top-end pricing.
The possible return of the S-series is notable because Vivo has largely focused on other lineups in India in recent years. Bringing back the range now could help the company target users looking for a design-focused smartphone with stronger overall positioning in the sub-Rs 50,000 segment.
