Quantum Systems has been chosen by the European Commission as a founding member of a new European industrial alliance focused on drone and counter-drone technologies. The move places the company among the early participants in a broader effort to strengthen cooperation between Europe and Ukraine in a fast-growing defense technology field.

According to the announcement, Quantum Systems will contribute more than five years of operational experience gained in Ukraine. That background is expected to help inform the alliance’s work as European partners look to improve drone capabilities and develop more effective responses to unmanned threats.

The new alliance highlights how important drone and anti-drone systems have become for European security and industrial planning. By bringing together companies with direct field experience, the initiative appears aimed at connecting practical operational lessons with future technology development and production.

For Quantum Systems, the selection reinforces its role in the European drone sector and its link to Ukraine-related defense innovation. Its inclusion as a founding member also underlines the growing value of real-world expertise as the EU expands collaboration around unmanned and counter-unmanned systems.
