A new EV charging station has started operations at the New Ashok Nagar Namo Bharat station, adding more charging support for electric vehicle users in the network. The facility is described as a high-capacity installation and marks another step in expanding charging access at key transit points.

According to the available details, the station has 14 DC chargers and offers charging capacity of up to 480 kW. That makes it one of the more powerful setups designed to handle EV charging demand efficiently, especially for users looking for faster top-ups.

With this launch, EV charging is now available at nine stations in the Namo Bharat system. The expansion suggests a broader push to combine public transport infrastructure with EV-friendly services, helping improve convenience for commuters and other drivers.

The addition at New Ashok Nagar reflects the growing focus on building practical charging networks in urban mobility hubs. As EV adoption rises, such facilities are expected to play an important role in supporting cleaner transport and better charging availability across the city.
