AMD used its Advancing AI 2026 event to reveal more than the new EPYC 9006 "Venice" processors. At the end of Lisa Su's keynote, the company also confirmed EPYC Zen 7 "Florence," giving an early look at what comes after Venice in AMD's server CPU roadmap.
The announcement linked Florence to ACE and next-generation memory, pointing to broader platform changes alongside the processor update. AMD did not provide a full technical breakdown in the brief confirmation, but the mention suggests Florence will be part of a larger data-center platform transition rather than a simple generational refresh.
AMD also said EPYC Zen 8 "Ravenna" is already in development. That places Florence as the next major step after Venice, while Ravenna appears to be the longer-range follow-up in the company's EPYC planning.
Even with limited details, the roadmap update is notable for enterprise and infrastructure watchers. By naming Florence, ACE, next-gen memory, and Ravenna during the keynote, AMD signaled that its data-center strategy extends well beyond the newly launched EPYC 9006 series.
