International kart racer Enzo Bettamio has denied a murder charge over the death of his Airbnb host at a £4 million mansion near Hyde Park. The 18-year-old is accused of fatally stabbing the woman shortly after arriving in the UK.

The alleged victim was named as Kamonnan Thiamphanit, 27, who was also known as Angela. Prosecutors say the killing happened within hours of Bettamio’s arrival at the London property where he had been staying.

According to the case details released so far, Bettamio was charged with murder and was later extradited from the United Arab Emirates in April. His denial means the case is set to move forward through the British court process.

The prosecution centers on the events at the luxury Hyde Park home and the circumstances surrounding the young racer’s stay there. Further proceedings are expected as the court examines the evidence in the case.
