The Indian Institute of Technology Madras closed out a landmark year with its 63rd convocation ceremony, where 3,518 degrees were awarded. The total included Joint and Dual Degrees, highlighting the scale of the institute’s graduating cohort.
According to details shared around the event, the degrees were conferred on 3,106 graduating students. A notable part of the total was the award of 511 doctorates, underlining IIT Madras’ continued strength in advanced research and higher academic achievement.
