A 29-year-old man from Blacks Harbour has been charged with second-degree murder after a woman was found dead inside a residence in the community. The case centres on the death of Patricia Honeywell, who was 45.
According to the available details, police were called to a home on Wellington Road in the early morning hours of July 17 to carry out a wellness check. During that response, officers discovered Honeywell’s body inside the residence.
Jordan Blanchard was later taken into custody and has now been charged in connection with the death. The charge of second-degree murder marks a major development in the investigation that began with the early-morning police call.
