Dutch police have detained a 46-year-old man with Israeli and Polish nationality in connection with an alleged large-scale investment fraud operation. The suspect has been identified in reports as Ehud "The Analyzer" Tenenbaum, a hacker who became widely known in the 1990s.

Authorities say the suspected scheme brought in more than €100 million a month and was run through 20 call centres. The case points to an operation of significant scale, with investigators focusing on the man’s alleged role in the network.

Tenenbaum’s name has long been associated with high-profile cyber intrusions, including breaches involving Pentagon and NASA systems during the 1990s. The latest arrest marks another serious legal setback for the longtime hacking figure, described as his fourth brush with the law.

The case highlights how figures once linked to early headline-making hacks can later emerge in broader fraud investigations. Dutch authorities have not only tied the suspect to his past notoriety, but now to an alleged investment scam with major international reach.
