The latest strikes reportedly hit logistics hubs in St. Petersburg overnight on Thursday. Those sites are described as a crucial part of Wildberries’ operations, meaning the impact goes beyond buildings alone and reaches the retailer’s ability to move, store and deliver goods across Russia.
The report says the drone attacks have destroyed billions of dollars’ worth of merchandise. That points to a potentially serious blow for a business that depends on massive warehouse capacity and fast distribution to support online shopping orders.
