Reported Ukrainian drone strikes have dealt a fresh blow to Wildberries, the e-commerce company led by billionaire Tatyana Kim. According to the report, two distribution centers in St. Petersburg caught fire on Friday, adding to a week in which five other Wildberries warehouses were destroyed.
The attacks appear to have hit the company’s logistics backbone at a critical scale. When several distribution hubs are damaged in quick succession, the impact can spread across storage, sorting and deliveries, creating wider disruption for a major online retail network.
The damage also raises the stakes for Tatyana Kim, whose wealth is closely tied to Wildberries and its distribution system. A concentrated series of strikes on warehouse facilities suggests that commercial infrastructure is becoming more exposed as drone warfare reaches deeper into Russia.
With multiple sites reportedly lost in a matter of days, the Wildberries case highlights how attacks can weaken private-sector operations as well as physical assets. The fires in St. Petersburg add to concerns about how Russian businesses protect and maintain supply chains under sustained pressure.
