CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke has said the group will continue its protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi even after Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation. While welcoming the minister’s exit, Dipke indicated that the move does not fully address the issues raised by the agitation.
According to Dipke, two key demands are still pending. He said the group wants compensation for the students who died by suicide and the resignation of the Delhi Police personnel accused of carrying out a lathi charge during the protest.
The statement signals that the agitation is shifting from a demand focused on political responsibility to one centered on compensation and accountability. By keeping the protest active in the national capital, CJP is maintaining pressure on both the government and the police over the unresolved points.
With Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation now behind it, the protest’s next phase will likely be judged by whether authorities respond to the remaining demands. For now, Dipke has made clear that the demonstration will continue until the group sees action on all fronts.
