A parliamentary committee in Nepal has told the government to modernize the country's border security system, highlighting the need for a more effective, better managed and technology-driven approach. The direction came from the National Assembly’s Federalism Enablement and National Concerns Committee in Kathmandu.
According to the committee’s message, Nepal must adapt its border management to emerging security challenges. The focus is not only on strengthening security, but also on improving how the system is organized and operated so it can respond more efficiently.
