K-pop group DKB, also known as Dark Brown Eyes, is set to make its Japan major debut. The announcement was released by Nippon Columbia and outlines a two-step rollout for the group's next chapter in the Japanese market.
The first release will be the Japan original song "Kakegae no Nai Kimi e" in August. That will be followed by a Japan original album in November, giving DKB a clear release schedule as it expands its activities in the country.
The snippet connected to the announcement also references DKB's growing visibility through programs such as "PEAK TIME" and "Re:Born." Members named in the release include E-CHAN, D1, GK, HEECHAN, JUNSEO, HARRY-JUNE and YUKU, underscoring the lineup behind the group's latest move.
A Japan live tour title is also mentioned alongside the single release, suggesting that DKB's Japanese major debut will involve more than recorded music alone. With an original Japanese song arriving first and a full album planned for later, the group is positioning this debut as a substantial push rather than a one-off release.
