Most PlayStation Network services are back online after a lengthy disruption, according to an update from Game Informer. The latest report says PSN functionality has largely been restored following an outage that affected players for much of the day.
The update notes that the interruption lasted for roughly eight hours before most services returned. That means core PlayStation Network features appear to be working again for many users who were unable to connect earlier.
The main remaining problem area is the PlayStation Store. While the broader PlayStation Network recovery is a positive sign, users may still run into issues specifically tied to browsing or purchasing through Sony’s digital storefront.
At this stage, the PlayStation Network outage appears to be easing, but the PlayStation Store has not fully recovered. Further updates would likely focus on when the remaining store-related issues are resolved.
