Jordan Obita believes Hibernian still have a real chance of turning their tie with Malisheva around despite trailing 2-0 from the first leg. The left-back pointed to the importance of the home crowd at Easter Road as Hibs prepare for the return match in the Conference League qualifier.

Hibs were left with a major task after Malisheva claimed a 2-0 win in Pristina. The result put the Kosovan side in control of the tie and increased the pressure on the Scottish club heading into the second leg.

Obita's view is that the atmosphere at Easter Road can play a big part in helping Hibernian respond. Home support could give the team extra energy and belief as they try to recover from a disappointing first-leg performance and force their way back into the contest.

The challenge for Hibs is clear: they must erase a two-goal deficit against opponents who already showed they can punish mistakes. Even so, with the tie moving to Edinburgh, Obita is backing Hibernian to produce a much stronger display and keep their European hopes alive.
