Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the satirical Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), is at the center of a political controversy after his mother alleged that he received a video threat telling him to join the BJP or face consequences involving his family.
According to the allegation, the warning created serious concern for the safety of Dipke's parents. His mother said the family left their home and stayed with relatives for sixteen days as a precautionary step.
