Google has released Android 17 QPR2 Beta 2, giving testers a new preview build for the company’s next quarterly platform update. The latest beta arrives about two weeks after the first QPR2 test version and is available for eligible Pixel phones starting with the Pixel 6a and newer models.
As with the first beta, the update does not bring back support for the Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro. That means Google’s current Android 17 QPR2 testing remains limited to newer Pixel hardware, continuing the device cutoff that was already seen in Beta 1.
