India’s exports from special economic zones climbed 11.8% year on year in 2025-26, reaching ₹16,36,192 crore, or $185.28 billion, according to information presented in Parliament.

The latest figure marks an increase from 2024-25, when exports from these zones stood at ₹14,63,669 crore, or $173.07 billion. The data was shared by Minister Jitin Prasada in a written reply in the Lok Sabha.

The update indicates that special economic zones continued to post export growth in 2025-26, adding to their contribution to India’s external trade. The rise suggests stronger outbound shipments from these designated export-oriented areas compared with the previous financial year.

With the government placing the numbers on record in Parliament, the latest SEZ export data offers a fresh snapshot of trade momentum from these zones and highlights the year-on-year improvement over 2024-25.
