The action includes blocking 4,996 Telegram channels and 1,263 websites. These figures suggest that messaging platforms and standalone sites remain major routes for circulating pirated film content online.
The information was disclosed by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry in Parliament. Based on the details available, the government’s order is aimed at reducing access to piracy-related material through digital platforms and intermediaries.
