Banabitan Biodiversity Park in Salt Lake will no longer charge its Rs 10 daily entry fee for morning walkers during the early hours of the day. The change takes effect from July 19.

According to the update, walkers entering the park between 5am and 7am will be allowed in without paying the daily fee. The move applies specifically to the morning walking window at the park.

The park’s annual pass system is not changing. Visitors who use the yearly access option will continue to pay Rs 3,000.

The revised entry rule is likely to matter most to regular walkers who visit Banabitan in the early morning, as they will be able to use the park during those hours without the daily charge.
