The Nigeria Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding with China’s Linyi Wholesalers Federation and TTC Hydra Limited in a move aimed at increasing manufacturing investment in Nigeria.
The agreement is designed to deepen commercial ties between Nigeria and China while creating a framework for stronger industrial cooperation. At its core, the pact points to a shared interest in expanding business activity tied to production, trade and broader private-sector engagement.
For Nigeria, the development highlights ongoing efforts to attract more investment into manufacturing and strengthen domestic industry through international partnerships. For the Chinese side, the arrangement signals continued interest in Nigeria as a key market for trade and long-term business collaboration.
The MoU also reflects the role of business groups and private companies in driving cross-border economic links beyond government-to-government talks. If implemented effectively, the partnership could support new opportunities in manufacturing, commerce and bilateral trade between both sides.
